Meetings for the Central Goldfields Bush Poets are held on the second Sunday of even numbered months. The location for our meetings and concert is the Whitehorse Hotel on Eaglehawk Road in Long Gully, just a few minutes from the centre of Bendigo. Meetings commence at 12.30pm and then an open stage concert is run from 2pm to 5pm.

In October 2005, it is possible that the meeting will be held elsewhere if proposals are successful in running a Bush Poetry Competition. More on this next year.

Bush Poets and performers of Bush Music are always welcome to participate in our concert and join the group. No-one is expected to be a "shining star", people are encouraged to use our concerts as a venue for improving their performance and stagecraft skills. People are welcome to read poetry, it does not have to be recited. Alternately, you may just be a lover of Bush Poetry or Bush Music who wishes to participate as a member of the audience.
